In the third quarter of 2024, the first-person gaming scene on Android in New Zealand showcased diverse performance trends for the top five apps. According to Sensor Tower, these insights reveal intriguing metrics on weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Manage Supermarket Simulator by Zego Global Pte, experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads from 2.5K in early July to a mere 65 by the end of September. Weekly revenue followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at around $200 and dropping to $16 by the quarter's end. The app's active users also decreased steadily from over 7K to approximately 4.5K.

My Supermarket Simulator 3D from Game District LLC, however, saw a positive trend. Revenue increased steadily, peaking at $559 in the last week of September. Downloads rose from 155 in mid-July to over 3.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this growth, increasing from 151 to nearly 7K.

Supersonic Studios LTD's Camo Sniper showed a relatively stable performance with modest revenue, fluctuating around low single digits throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads grew from 761 to 1.9K, while active users increased from 6.6K to over 10K by the end of September.

Lastly, Craft World - Building Craft experienced a decline in downloads over the quarter, from 1.1K to 557, with active users maintaining a stable range between 3.1K and 3.6K. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
